The equipment available for loaning is as follows:
Item A: still camera, video camera, digital
recording device, wireless microphone, tripods
Item B: LCD projector, laptop, PC speaker, 2m X 2m screen
Faculty/Staff members may borrow any of the mentioned items A and B during the working hours from 8:00 and to return it before 16:00. In certain special cases they can keep it overnight and return it at 8:00 next day.
Students may borrow any of the mentioned items A during the working hours from 8:00 and to return it before 16:00. In certain cases they can keep it for overnight and return it at 8:00 next day after the written approval of their project supervisor who will be responsible with the student for the equipment loaned.
All items must be used on campus only and for educational purposes only unless explicit permission is sought and given for off-campus and/or other uses.
In case equipment is lost or damaged by Faculty/Staff or Student, they will be required to replace it with another one with the same specifications within one month of borrowing it. If replacement is not possible, they have to pay for the equipment at the current price.
Any student who cannot comply with the above measure, will have his/her grade blocked at the Registrar’s Office until such time when s/he returns/replaces the said equipment. Faculty or staff who cannot replace the equipment within one month of borrowing will have the amount deducted from their monthly salary.
